Hosting an Event?
FAQs
How much do events cost?
Hosting your event at Skylab will cost $95/attendee, with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 32 people. Should your group be fewer than 8 people, you will still be charged for a party of 8. Small parties are welcome to book private classes though we do recommend checking our class calendar for availability first. We do require a non-refundable deposit in order to reserve a date for your event. Your event date is adjustable up to 30 days prior should you need to reschedule, subject to availability with our existing class calendar.
How long will my event be?
We recommend 2:30-3:30 depending on your group size in order to give everyone an opportunity to participate on the workstations. There are 8 stations and we will rotate in new participants as attendees complete their creations. Large parties may exceed 4 hours in order to accommodate all attendees that would like to participate. We recommend food and beverage for larger parties (below).
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes! We encourage it, as it allows some down time for attendees that are not actively participating in the class at that moment to relax and mingle. We have a refrigerator, tables and chairs for dining, and various other assists in storing, preparing and displaying your food and drinks. Alcohol IS allowed, but please don’t be THAT person at the party as we are actively working with open flame and glass during the participation of the glass art class. Should you require recommendations or even assistance in procuring F&B, please let us know!
